If the municipal election isn't held on November 4, 2014, contact the municipal clerk for filing deadlines. Home Rule municipalities may have a different filing schedule - check with your municipal clerk to verify disclosure dates.

Applies to:

  • Candidates and candidate committees whose office will appear on the November 4, 2014 General Election ballot.
  • Issue committees whose issue attempts access to or appears on the November 4, 2014 General Election ballot.
  • All other active municipal level committees (political and small donor committees, 527 political organizations, independent expenditure committees) whose candidates or issues attempt access to or appear on the November 4, 2014 General Election ballot.

What about major contributor notices and notices of independent expenditures?

This calendar does not include the 24 Hour Notice of Major Contributor or the 48 Hour Notice of Independent Expenditure reports that may be required based on certain activity. The period during which these reports may be required begins 30 days before the primary and general election and ends the day before the election. Electioneering communications reports may also be required beginning 30 days before a Primary and 60 days before a General. Refer to the Campaign Finance manual (PDF) for more information
